Kathleen Dello Stritto
 
Painter of Light and Shadow

Kathleen Dello Stritto is a painter, teacher and writer who has been painting professionally for over 25 years in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastel. She is a Signature Member of the Southwest Watercolor Society and Texas Visual Artists,and past president of the Pastel Society of the Southwest. Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries in New Mexico, Colorado, Arkansas, and Texas as well as in over fifty juried and invitational shows, most recently in "Art In The Metroplex" at Templeton Art Gallery in Fort Worth and "Perspectives" at Cerulean Gallery in Dallas. Her paintings have been acquired by collectors from all over the United States, Australia, and Europe. Corporate collectors include Electronic Data Systems, Chidren's Medical Center of Dallas, and Tarrant County ACCESS. She lives and works in Hurst, Texas and Angel Fire, New Mexico.

Kathleen's work is famous for dramatic light and shadow patterns and her focus on echoing shapes and patterns in both nature and man-made objects. Images within images are a reoccuring theme in her still lifes, interiors and landscapes.
